Heads up! Some shops may offer an even cheaper alternative - an LCD screen. We do not supply an LCD for this model because it is thicker, more fragile, and drains your battery much faster.
Most charging issues are simply caused by compacted pocket lint preventing the cable from seating fully in the port. We always try to clear this out with a deep clean first (£10) before recommending a full repair.
If the port is genuinely damaged and requires replacement, we use a genuine Apple part reclaimed from an original iPhone to guarantee perfect fit and performance.
Experiencing Random Restarts?
If your iPhone is randomly restarting every 3 (or few) minutes, the charging port could still be the culprit. You can verify this by checking your device's panic logs (Settings ➔ Privacy & Security ➔ Analytics & Improvements ➔ Analytics Data, then look for a file starting with panic-full). If you see a "mic1" (the bottom primary microphone) or "prs0 (the barometer) sensor error in that log, it means the charging port circuit has failed and the flex cable needs to be replaced.
